Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 11, 2025
PeakFlow ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website getpeakflow.pro and provides Windows desktop
productivity software (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection,
use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect as little data as possible. PeakFlow tools run locally on your Windows PC. We
do not operate cloud servers that process your personal data.
- Account Information: If you subscribe to PeakFlow Pro, our payment processor
(LemonSqueezy/Paddle) collects your email address and payment details. We receive your email and
subscription status but never see your full payment information.
- Google Calendar Data (ScreenSlap only): ScreenSlap accesses your Google Calendar
through Google's OAuth2 system to read upcoming events. This data is fetched directly from Google's
servers to your PC. We never see, store, or transmit your calendar data — it stays between your
computer and Google.
- Camera Data (Liquid Focus only): Liquid Focus can optionally use your webcam for
focus monitoring. Camera data is processed entirely on your local PC and is never recorded, stored,
or transmitted anywhere.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To process subscription payments
- To send important service announcements (e.g., security updates)
- To respond to support requests
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for
marketing purposes.
3. Google API Services
PeakFlow's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API
Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, ScreenSlap:
- Only requests read-only access to your Google Calendar
(
calendar.readonly scope)
- Only uses calendar data to display event alerts on your local PC
- Does not transfer calendar data to any server or third party
- Does not use calendar data for advertising or any purpose other than providing the alert
functionality
- Stores only an OAuth authentication token locally on your PC for session persistence
4. Data Storage
All PeakFlow application data is stored locally on your PC in your user AppData directory:
- Configuration files: Your preferences and settings
- Authentication tokens: Google OAuth tokens (ScreenSlap) stored at
%APPDATA%\InYourFace\token.json
- Task data: Locally stored task lists (Liquid Focus)
You can delete all PeakFlow data at any time by removing these files from your AppData folder.
5. Third-Party Services
PeakFlow integrates with the following third-party services:
- Google Calendar API: For reading your calendar events (ScreenSlap). Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Todoist API: For optional task synchronization (Liquid Focus). Governed by Todoist's Privacy Policy.
- Payment Processor: For subscription management. They have their own privacy
policies.
6. Data Security
Since PeakFlow tools run locally and we don't operate data-collecting servers, your data security largely
depends on your own PC security. We recommend:
- Keeping your Windows installation up to date
- Using a strong password on your Windows account
- Not sharing your Google OAuth credentials
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
